Vinting for Regent Wineries had its humble beginnings in Tanzania, when Mama Luzangi picked the art of wine making as a pastime. She would pick fruits from Mzee Luzangi's "shamba", bring them into the little kitchen, make juices and slowly ferment them under a watchful eye. She continued by passing the knowledge to her children who began to share their mother's passion and love for the process of wine crafting. They excelled by utilizing fruits that were the native best to their geolocation.
